Is Honeygain Safe to use? Know here
In case you don't know what Honeygain is, It promises to give you passive income by using your unused Internet bandwidth. So, it shares your bandwidth to do some activities online with certain other companies, and it, in exchange, gives you some credits. Those credits can then be exchanged for actual money, which you can withdraw once you hit a $20 limit.
It takes forever to reach that $20 limit on most internet connections, because the app doesn't always work on a fixed bandwidth. And they even have this new jump tasks token too, which is like a crypto token. I guess I haven't tried it too much. Last time I installed it on 3 of my phones, I wasn't getting much results, and it was draining my phone's battery too much. But this time, I'll install it on my PC as well to see if it makes a difference.
The reason why these YouTubers tell you that the only way to make money and get that $ 5 bonus is by their link, is because they'll get some commission. When you use Honeygain and you know, You start earning tokens. That's how you make the real money in this app.
They've taken some measures to make sure that, you know, your data won't be used for illegal purposes. But in their FAQ section, they say that should something bad happen. We have the contractual right to request our customers to take responsibility. So that means there is a chance.
I also noticed that the Honeygain app has been removed from the Play Store. You know, it's not available in Google Play Store, so I was kind of concerned. Google thought this was a violation of the app. And the Honeygain app is present on the Apple App Store, which is actually a lot more strict than the Google Play Store.
Like I said, The majority of people earning are actually creators and influencers who are telling you to sign up to their link. I mean, You may have seen these videos of, earning tricks and all that from Honeygain. But every single time, those earnings that they have made are from referral bonuses. They earned most of it from people joining through their links. And they'll keep promoting their links in these type of videos, asking more people to join. I mean, that's the whole stick.
The only scenario where trying this makes reasonable sense is if you have unlimited bandwidth. You have an unlimited internet connection, and you have a spare device which you are keeping on at all times. I wouldn't tell you to install it on your main device. I mean, that was my personal experience.
Some people have said their phones were fine. So again, your mileage may vary. This app is very iffy, as you can tell. It's not very reliable. Some people do manage to earn, Some people don't. But if you have unlimited bandwidth on your internet connection and you have a phone or something that's always there anyway, I guess you can try it.
